As Lions we are more focused on service than recognition.  However, our club feels that once a year it is vital to acknowlege the role every member has in making the club successful.  We hold a secret vote for Lion and Cub of the year and choose a committee chair of the year who has gone above and beyond.

This year we hold the event on June 21st at a residence and have over 40 attendees share a pot luck brunch together on the patio.

We then discussed potential projects for the next Lions year we may like to adopt, Inducted 2 new members to the club, presented 4 proud lin pins to members who had me the criteria, presnted 100% attendence pins to charter members who have participated in an event every month, presented certificates of appreciation, Lion, Cub and Committee chair of the year to winners and a special recognition plaque to our charter president. 

To say it was a wonderful day is an understatement
